The most popular virtual band ever (Guinness World Record 2002 & 2006). The creators of the band are Damon Albarnof Blurand artist Jamie Hewlett of Tank Girl fame. Gorillaz started out in 1998 and have released 2 studio albums Gorillaz(2001) and Demon Days(2005), a b-sides collection G-Sides(2001) and a remix of the Gorillazalbum called Laika Come Home(2002). They have also released three DVDs, "Phase One: Celebrity Takedown", "Demon Days Live at Manchester Opera House" and "Phase Two: Slow Boat To Hades". The members of the band are 2D(vocals, keyboards), Noodle(guitar, vocals), MurdocNiccals (bass guitar) & RusselHobbs (drums).
